During Bangladesh’s move towards development through globalization, our health system was found to be diagnosing patients with unskilled, semi-educated manpower. This prompted the establishment of a journey in 2011 to create skilled and quality diagnostic medical technologists to serve as an important part of the country’s medical system.

Initially, students were able to secure admission in all the sanctioned seats in the first year, with the number of technology and seats gradually increasing from the academic year 2012-2013. Currently, in the academic year 2024-25, there has been an increase of 1 course and 60 seats, with students able to take admission in all the approved seats.

Today, that institution has become a digital campus with modern facilities that meet international standards, making it one of the best medical institutes in Bangladesh, both in the private and government sectors.
